My Dad and Janna came for a visit last week and brought some Maine lobsters with them. Janna made her famous Stuffed Lobster. It is by far the best thing I have ever put in my mouth.

Confession- I don't feed my children all organic food. Some days we are lucky to get ONE fruit and ONE vegetable in their mouths. Its not that I don't try but when you have two, two year olds that chose to eat NOTHING all day, you let them eat whatever they want when they finally decide to eat (well at least I do!). Grandpa was in town last weekend and brought home a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts. Sydney and Savannah decided to eat and guarded the box until they had their fill.

If you live in Birmingham and have small children and have not been to the Kids Gym (in the Old Berry Middle School) you are missing out. This place has changed my life! It is basically an indoor play area. There are also classes that your children can take that incorporates gymnastics type things. Sydney and Savannah LOVE it. They love Ms. Wendy and talk about her all the way to class. For instance...I can not go anywhere without them asking me to pick them up. This morning all I had to say was, "Ms. Wendy is waiting for you two..." They looked at each other, giggled, grabbed hands and took off to find Ms. Wendy. Now that I am thinking about this....I wonder how often I could use this other places..."Girls, was that Ms. Wendy?? Hurry! Lets go see if we can find her!" Would that be considered lying??

Meghan's visit...

I am so behind on blogging about this because I did such a poor job on taking pictures (one of these is from my camera phone). Sorry Meghan! I guess we were having too much fun to take pictures!!
Meghan is a very dear friend (and pledge sister, oh and a fellow northerner) from college. She came to visit and finally meet Sydney and Savannah. They instantly fall in love with her. Thank you so much for coming Meghan. It really meant a lot to us! I can't wait to see you again soon.

Mercedes' Birthday Party

Mercedes' turned 9 on the 25th. She had a few friends over for pizza, cake, and ice cream. They also went to Painted By U to paint some pottery. She had an amazing time. Being around 8 girls that are 9 years old was intense. Just listening to their conversations were cracking me up! Sydney and Savannah felt super cool chillin' with the older girls.
